Still refusing all hats and most hair clips, but these cat eye sunglasses are her fav 🤷🏻♀️ Will probably be the last time she can fit into this romper too (bought it last Christmas) but I found a brand new one on eBay in the next size up! Winner winner 🐓 🍗
Sunday started with a cup of tea and toast (after Ava went down for her nap of course) watched the final Glee episode on Netflix, had a roast dinner at the local pub, walked through the park, blitzed the house, and had a surprisingly good Korean takeaway for dinner. The milk bottles are washed, my tummy is fed,and now settling down for a bit of telly. High five, Sunday.
Two thoughts occur to me- one, that this says hello hi just me trying to keep my house together and somewhat nice and sometimes toy buses just get in the way, and two, actually maybe Ava is on to something and a toy bus is exactly what was needed for this cupboard. 🤷🏻♀️
The trouble with our hallway is that it doesn’t get much light- adding to the ever growing list is to replace the front door to one with some glass panels to allow more light through. Also stumped how to make it more interesting? I’ve got a massive round mirror on the wall but not sure how else to make it prettier? Thought about panelling but the staircase makes that awkward 🤷🏻♀️ Think I’ll sit on it awhile before I get paint happy!
A squirmy toddler selfie because squirminess is the new normal now 👌🏼 Getting ready for a bath after a successful play time in the garden pulling up the grass to play with the dirt 🤦🏻♀️
Watching the rain fall from the window. Cooler, rainy days mean tea, toast and a Harry Potter. The gloomy weather makes this one fall asleep faster too!
Foxes, squirrels, a rogue bunny, and a cacophony of birds...there’s a reason I went with a woodland theme in Ava’s room when we moved in! My view outside the kitchen window when I went to put the kettle on...hello little fox, hope you had a nice snooze (Believe it or not, this is East London!)
